The Opportunity: The American Girl Washington, DC retail store (McLean, VA) is currently seeking a passionate Assistant Sales Manager who can be innovative and thrive in a friendly and fast-paced environment. What Your Impact Will Be:  • Assists the Sales Manager in the management, leadership, and overview of the retail business. • Provide sales floor leadership to ensure a friendly, positive, and professional work environment for both customers and employees at all times. • Assists the Sales manager to achieve goals and monitor progress through weekly recaps and regular floor coaching and counseling of associates. • Assists the Sales Manager in the strategic plan for new items, special promotions, and creation of floor plans. • Execute all job functions in accordance with established American Girl processes and policies.
